Five new languages. But one sentence in the announcement is for you, if you live in the EU.
Fact
The facts: on October 26, 2026, Apple announced that with the 27.2 software updates Siri AI is available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. Chinese (traditional), Norwegian, Turkish and Vietnamese are promised by the end of the year. Siri AI is in beta in iOS 27.2, iPadOS 27.2, macOS 27.2, watchOS 27.2 and visionOS 27.2, and requires a device with Apple Intelligence set to a supported language. It is not available for users under 13. For the EU, Apple writes that Siri AI is “currently unavailable in the EU in iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS”, and adds that it is working with the EU to find a path forward.
That means iPhone, iPad and the watch. The sentence does not mention macOS or visionOS, and what that means for them, the announcement does not say. Why Siri AI is missing in the EU is not stated either. There is no deadline.
Region first, language second.
Bulgarian is not among the five, nor among the four due by the end of the year. It is also missing from the language list of Apple Intelligence itself, which Siri AI is built on.
