we are coded is an independent, non-commercial newsroom covering AI and technology. Less noise, more meaning.
Who writes this

My name is Tsvetelin Ivanov.
I come from music, events and marketing. I've made music, run an online radio, thrown parties and built projects with brands from Bulgaria and abroad. In 2009 I founded CODE and I still stand behind it today.
I write, I design, I think in systems, and I look for the thread connecting culture, technology, business and where the world is heading.
we are coded started as a project for myself.
I wanted one place where I could follow AI and technology without digging through dozens of sources every day. Over time it became clear: if it saves me time and helps me keep the picture straight, it can be useful to others too.
The goal is simple: less noise, more meaning.
To understand what is happening, why it matters and how it can touch you - at work, in business, in your craft, or in the way you think about the future.
This is not a storefront. I don't run it to sell you something at any cost. I run it because I believe that knowing your way around this field is already a real advantage.
AI helps me reach more information in less time. I use it as a tool - for searching, sorting, comparing, checking directions and editorial work.
Atlas helps too - my AI assistant, built with me over the last three years on top of my voice, my method and my way of thinking.
But the choice of topics, the fact-checking, the editing, the final text and the responsibility are mine.

How it's made
We start from official primary sources whenever they exist - the blogs and press rooms of the companies themselves. When there is no official announcement, we use an established outlet with direct access, clearly labeled as such. Not random aggregators, not rumors.
We retell in our own words and add our own read, clearly separated from the fact. Numbers and claims are attributed to their source - 'according to OpenAI', 'per Anthropic'. We illustrate with our own code art, generated in-house. Every story carries its source visibly: an official primary source, or, where there is no official announcement, an established outlet with direct access to the facts, labelled as "Media confirmation". Rumours and "people familiar with the matter" are not published.
Rights and sources
We use facts from public official sources, retell them in our own words and cite the sources visibly.
The visuals are ours, generated in-house - no third-party photos, logos or product screens. If you believe something here touches your rights, write to us and we will correct it.
Privacy
The site has no accounts, forms, cookies or analytics, and we do not use it for profiling, advertising or behavioural tracking. The fonts are self-hosted, so the page makes no requests to outside servers. The site itself sits behind Cloudflare (CDN) - requests pass through them before reaching us; this is described in Privacy.
As with almost any website, the hosting provider may keep standard server logs (including IP addresses) for security and maintenance; we do not use them for tracking or profiling. The full policy and contact details live on the Privacy page (linked at the bottom).
In short
We don't copy anyone's work - we use only the facts, retold our way. And we collect none of your data through this site.
If you spot an inaccuracy or want to flag something, we'll be glad to fix it. This is not a legal document - it is how we try to do things cleanly and calmly.
