From 14 September the driverless cars carry the public along the Strip, in an area of nearly 24 miles. The same day Waymo, Nihon Kotsu and GO announced a plan for a commercial service in Tokyo next year, if regulators grant approval.

On 3 September Figure and Nscale announced a partnership for NVIDIA Vera Rubin with up to 100,000 GPUs, with initial deployment targeted from the second half of 2027 in Barstow, Texas. The initial commitment is $3.5 billion of compute, with intent to exceed $6 billion. Nscale also comes in as an investor in Figure.

On 20 July NVIDIA released Cosmos 3 Edge - an open model with about 4 billion parameters that understands its surroundings and decides the robot's next move on its own, right on the device, with no cloud. It runs in real time on their chip, Jetson. For robotics that means less latency and less dependence on an outside connection.
